Descrição do itinerário
Route 12 of the book EXPLORE KYRGYZSTAN. A beautiful but poorly maintained, earth track along the border with Kazakhstan. Its vast green meadows are occupied by a few nomadic herding families who continue to lead a traditional way of life. Part of the valley is covered with fir trees. The most difficult part of this route is around the Ak-Tog Pass (3,481 m) which gives access to the Sary-Jaz Valley.
