Farmland and rural historic village with old store and teahouse. Most segments have distant mountian views to north, east, or south. Mount Baker in USA is prominent, snow covered year round, and strongly resembles Mt. Fuji in Japan.

The track is very flat except when going on or off dikes. Roads are all paved, dykes are light gravel, river side trails are hard pack with possible muddy sections.

The track starts near the south bank of Fraser River close to the south end of a bridge across the Fraser River (Mission is at north end of bridge). It follows quiet rural roads to Clayburn Village. The Clayburn Village store offers tea, coffee, ice cream, etc. and has sit down tables. Return from village through farmland and along dike trails passing Matsqui Regional Park.

In December migrating birds are seen, with swans coming in for landing or taking-off in fields near the roads.
