There is a small charge to park at Hartland Quay payable at the kiosk at the top of the hill. If room park at the bottom of the hill in one of the larger car parks.
At the bottom of the hill, there is a friendly pub named 'Wreckers' bar. A hotel, museum and public conveniences. Look out for the map of all the shipwrecks Inside 'Wreckers' bar demonstrating how dangerous it was to navigate this part of the coastline.
The walk starts by heading south from Hartland Quay along the coastal path towards Speke's Mill Mouth.
At Speke's Mill will find one of the most popular and impressive waterfalls in the area.
Continue through the little valley to Lymbridge and then head back towards Stoke.
The impressive Church of St Nectan's in Hamlet of Stoke, also known as the Cathedral of North Devon well worth a look inside if you have time.
The final point of interest is the ruin of the 'pleasure house' folly built in c16 but now home to the local sheep.
