Hello.
I use my android phone as my gps device.
I am trying to use wikiloc premium.
For many reasons, the Hiking trail you follow may disappear or be impracticable:
-) because of vegetation
-) due to inclement weather
-) It has been closed or banned by regional authorities
-) etc….
So you have to find an alternative way ( or go back from where you came, which is a shame).
The offline maps you offer are inadequate to change the circuit you are following.
How to have a detailed map online in offline mode?
At lest opencyclemap is a minimum.
Any help is welcome

What I mean is "the path disappears brutally". It is physical. That as mothing to to with the gps itself.
So in that case you have to take a decision to continue the trail.
Then you need a map with more details than the one provide by default by wikiloc for smartphone.
At least as a minimum something like opencyclemap.

The question is : is wikiloc able to give maps like opencyclemap on smartphone. If not, the software is useless for me as I use my smartphone a gps device.

My question is still not answered.
