I notice a problem with some of my trails e.g. ... d=45463417

Note there is an altitude spike early on this trail and several location spikes.

I think these correlate with when I take my phone out of my pocket and unlock it e.g. to take a photo. I saw this today when I was sitting down, the location kept moving or a few seconds then came back to my current location.

Can you advise what is causing these issues and how they can be stopped?

This happens when your device recalibrates. The low spike at the beginning is probably caused by your device using the last altitude measurement, before it manages to more correctly triangulate the actual elevation. Spikes also typically occur when you pause (e.g. for taking a photo) and handle your device causing it to momentarily seeking new data. You can remove many spikes by deleting the corresponding waypoint.
