Boy Scout Property for use by members of the BSA- One of 5 color Trails that are part of the Beaumont Reservation Hiking Trails. These trails are available to Scout Troops through hiking reservation from the Greater St Louis Area Council. ~ 5 miles, easy to moderate hike, a few climbs, but much of the trail is on level ground. Many backcountry features including a remote shelter, Muds Cave, as well the passing the rope course. The Red trail provides a brief view of I-44. The Red Trail does skirt along a rifle range boundary, stay on the trail. Trails are marked, but map and compass and/or GPS are advised. There are many intersections with other reservation trails including a white trail.
